It looks like they had fun--as I did when I wore plus-fours and a bow tie for the Q Putt-Putt Open! But honestly they don't look very Edwardian (the gentlemen especially), and even if Edwardian they're not dressed for croquet, and the factory doesn't look like a very good place for croquet anyway, and I wish that the pictures in their photo set didn't include quite so many shots of them taking pictures of each other.
I'm not ashamed of my sartorial Putt-Putt hijinks, but I doubt they'd be of much interest to the world as a whole. If I were one of this croquet crew, I might be a little annoyed at having my and my friends' whimsical stunt (or Grand Gesture or whatever you call it) featured for the whole world to discuss on Boing Boing.
All the world's a stage.
I have very mixed feelings.
