Pixies - Debaser

Genius. My high school friends and I always posited that we were precisely the right age at the right time when this album came out. I mean, some lucky bastards were 16 when Exile on Main Street or Revolver or Rubber Soul (or, hell, the White Album) came out, but at least we were 16 when Doolittle came out. Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant album.

My sister and I played Doolittle in its entirety today coincidentally, right before the remnants of the tropical storm hit.

Great music for an obscenely humid day or any day for that matter...
