The social calender says a 3 night trip, but at Q 2 days ago it was said we'd need to leave on the Wednesday. Could we do the Thursday? Car camp Thursday night, on the water Fri/Sat/Sun nights? Drive Monday.

Looking forward to it.

CTP and I took the Day Off out for her maiden voyage today--the first paddle of the season.

Launched at Constitution Beach in East Boston, paddled out the cove to the Winthrop bridge, and under the bridge (fighting both tide and wind) to get into Belle Isle Marsh. Then turned around and came back (riding both tide and wind), practicing unusual strokes as we came.

All in all, a good time. It was also the maiden voyage for CTP's first handmade paddle--the ash one with the straight shaft. He found it rather annoyingly heavy; I kind of liked it.

I've been very good. Can I have two of these?

Not sure about the sizes...are those chest dimensions?

Also:how about paddling Sunday afternoon? Or are you busy?
