end bitsEnd Bits - Freekin COLD EditionGDP +5.7%? After talking to a builder at Victor's Deli today who mentioned Somerville house sales are getting record breaking $ per sq. foot, I wonder how do we measure the econ recovery?
End Bits: 2009-W44* On the drive home from class... is it too much to ask for the World Series to be on AM Radio? * Batch #22: After ~2 weeks in the bottle, the off-flavor is weaker. I should be able to force this down. * Batch #19: I'm hoping the un-pastuerized cider I used in this year's cider will result in less "trub" in the bottle. * I've given up Target for Wal-Mart. !It's your recession now, Obama! * RE: post-punk/new wave http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7-nUB2nFF5A
End Bits: 2009-W38* Rep. Joe Wilson overstepped the bounds of decorum, but Congressional Democrats should've let him hang himself. * I still haven't listened to King of Jeans. * Which show do I go to this fall? Pissed Jeans, Sonic Youth, The Jesus Lizard, or The Pixies. Really, it's down to the Jeans or the Lizard. * Pumpkin Ale time! I've had Post Road, and am now into Fisherman's Pumpkin Stout by Cape Ann Brewing. The stout is not as good as I remember it. Post Road (Brooklyn Brewery) might be the standard. Smuttynose is next. The _______ Beer Works does a nice version too, I recall.
