I think that was the last time Ponson won a game.

His game he pitched for the Yankees is more impressive, he pitched a shutout inning, and I believe when he came in for relief, it was mid-inning, and he came to the mound from third and they brought in a replacement third baseman... However in the Tampa-Baltimore series that he pitched he also hit his 3,000th, so that's pretty cool.

Coming in from third is way cooler... "Just move Wade over."

Could a player go back to a position they had already been at in a game? Once taken of the mound, are you out of the game?

after he pitches he can go back to third... he just can't go back in after he's sat an inning. Anyone know the rule for subbing the DH? Let's say you're expecting a bunt and you want to put someone faster in for one batter at third, could you put in someone off the bench at third, move the third baseman over to DH, and then after the play, move the third baseman back from DH and put the fast guy on the plank. Then, the next time the DH comes up have a different guy in there? Anyone?
