The Yawkey Way Camp Out, Feb 18th-19th

Since the Red Sox seemed to fuck up their online ordering this week, I must get in line to buy my tickets.

Therefore Friday, Feb. 18th after work I will head down to Yawkey way with my 700 closest friends and wait in line for Sox tickets. I got shafted last year, but this year I will have Saturday off. It's not "fun," but I got a lot of reading done...

I am, provided that work agrees with me.

I tried to get some tickets online- wound up with 2 sets of 4 standing room seats. That's all I could get.

When you try to order by phone, I love how no matter what game or which seats you select, the recorded voice says, "Since this is a popular game, the amount of seats you have selected may not be together: either in seperate rows or in seperate sections," even when I chose a single ticket to Tampa.

I called Yawkey Way today, and the woman said, "Yeah, there's a computer glitch."
So I asked, "Does that mean the seats will be together, and the recorded voice is cued wrong?" and she said that they didn't know...

Bullshit.
