So Derek got his needed win. And Crespo got his 2nd RBI (in his 75th at bat) which was actually a fluke, after a "throw to the face" by the Royal's first baseman into his pitcher.
Lowe Tech actually looked OK after serving up a first inning two run dinger, and were it not for two errors in the fifth (one Derek's own fielding blunder) that would have been the Royal's only runs off him. He wasn't his sharpest, but probably his 2nd best outing of the season. His K on Beltran after going being down 3-0 in the count (4th innning?) was a great moment.
Do we really need Mueller and Youkilis?
