What's Your Cell Plan?

Posted by Miriam on 2005-04-14 19:09:07 +0000
I need some help finding a new plan/carrier. My current phone is a dated piece of crap, and I'm the WORST decision maker when it comes to technology. Any advice would be much appreciated. So far, Cingular seems to have the most coverage area, but T Mobile has the shortest contract time.

I plan not to get one.

Consumer Reports for the past 2 years or so has rated Verizon @ the top of the heap in all 20 cities of their tested markets. I believe the last issue to faeture this was in late 2004 / early 2005. Hope this helps BTW: I really like my Verizon phone, so maybe Im biased, but CR is a good non biased source (not-so-secretly hoping this info irritates dawn and tgl.... :) ) _______________________________

I would find out which one allows you to call Boston for free, no roaming. I like Verizon, too, but roamed in North Carolina. ________________ "Hardcore Stricken Fagan at the Wad caused dance party Total Kenobi." Rory_Stark

And have you both also sworn only to buy music on vinyl?

I build everything myself. Completely Self-Reliant.

Awesome. Total cost? Nice stove insert. I completely disagree with Ned. I'll be building in here starting June 28th.

5 of my last 6 music purchases involved polyvinyl chloride plastic. ...and I paid cash.

What did Ned say? Are you trying to start something? mmm, wallpaper.

Posted by tgl on 2005-04-15 20:43:33 +0000
Everybody's starting something. Ned did not care for the stove insert. Yellow wallpaper stays. All the rest goes. Strip party?

Ned can sit in the cold... My insert got my house up to 88 degrees last month.

Yeah, tell this Ned kid to fuck off. Inserts rule!

I bought 11 records for $41 on Thursday. Converted to British quid, that's fuckin' wicked cheap. (Aerosmith's "Aerosmith" for $1.50 ie.) I think the best find was the three 7"'s for 5 bucks: Lou Reed's "Walk on the Wild side", Madonna's "Express yourself" (picture sleeve) and Propaghandi's "Fuck you"(?) (picture sleeve). Most expensive pick up was a truely bizaar discountinued Fagen/Becker (Not the Dan) soundtrack I got at Looney Tunes. I must admit the "Robert Frost reads Robert Frost" is what went on the turntable first...
