Jimmy Wales of the Wikimedia Foundation, the group responsible for projects like Wikipedia and Wikinews, will be speaking about Wikipedia and free knowledge in 101 Pound Hall at Harvard Law School on Tuesday, April 26 at 8:30 pm. I know Wiki has been explained and used liberally around the RS.N, but could someone please explain to me the whole Wiki thing? Im not sure its in my grasp yet... _______________________________

Less cryptic: Wiki is the name given to a website that allows web surfers to create and edit content. The name is from the Hawaiian, wiki wiki, meaning fast.
