. . . words escape me . . .

Fournier! You, of all people, please, read this! Pam? Somebody validate my post with a witty comment.

You are so much snappier than I am on the clever commentary tip, and even you are at a loss for words. That having been said, out of a desire to please you - and despite a strong urge to avoid sounding like a tut-tutting old woman - I will make the following statement: Matt Ames writes as if he's employed by The Onion, but I get the distinct impression that he is attempting to sound tongue-in-cheek whilst succeeding only in sounding head-up-ass. I mean, all of those "du-hu-huuude"s made me want to find out where he lives, drag him out onto his front lawn by his ear, and hit him with a bat. As a side note (and a last-ditch effort to save face), did you know that although Sweden "stayed out of" WWII, they actually let the Nazis use Swedish railways to send troops through into Norway, thereby essentially offering Norwegians up to Hitler on an IKEA plate? No wonder they're such angry little Scandies.

I've used "du-hu-huuude" many times today. *sniff* I still think Douglas Feith could be in Burzum.

I read the article today- I thought it was a bit of a riot. I mean, lord knows I went through the phase where I only wanted to dress like Ben Weasel because I thought he was like the epitome of punk, but, in doing so, actually became what I hated. So, in short, I'll bite. (Have you ever called me by last name before now? Not that I can remember.)
