BTW April 2005 'Wire' has a Grime Primer.
The Wire is consistently the BEST music mag out there: writers like David Toop, Brian Cook (of the 'Infinite Jest'-Sized 'Penguin Guide To Jazz')et. al
The Primers are bi-monthly, and they give you like 20 or so recordings representative of either a genre or a specific artist's best work.
April, BTW was the month Mike Patton had the cover story:
