Biden in '08?

Wow, now here's a contender.
I'd vote for him, and McCain is looking grim...

I'm no McCain fan. I think he's the current frontrunner for the GOP ticket.

Biden. Blowhard. I like him.

You're kidding yourself if you think McCain is a frontrunner.
All things Bush/Cheney/Rove want Frist. He's very "loyal."
Even Romney is unlikely to get broad GOP suppport.

A little bit crusty Quinnipiac poll from March. Yes 3 months is ages as far as handicapping elections go, I forgot where I saw a similar one last week.

Frist is a partisan hack. He's not even a good one. He provided a diagnosis based on a videotape! C'mon, the GOP has got to be smarter than putting their eggs in Frist's basket.

Romney owns more flip-flops than Kerry, he's a dead duck too.

I like McCain. According to his 'Meet The Press" interview yesterday, he tries to stay in line with the ideologies of Lincoln, Roosevelt, and Reagan.

I like that McCain understands what 'ideology' means.

Here's a fun idea that popped up at dinner last night: Anyone willing to bet that Bush could pass the MCAS?

Id guess that he'd score about one point higher than Kerry would :0 )

Dont know if that would mean he would pass, though.

Back to the matter at hand: Are there any philosophical underpinnings to Bush's modus operandi? Is he even bothered by the fact that as a sum total, his actions cannot be described within a ideological framework?

Don't tell me ideology is a bad word.

I've always thought of Bush as the kind of guy who would feel comfortable inside a pinball machine. I don't think it bothers him at all.

Maybe I shouldn't be so concerned. How can he be bothered by an inconsistent world view if he can't recognise the inconsistencies?

Yep, Frist is done.

Yes, it's wicked early, but you're more likely to see Gingrich in the White House

Frist can't run the Senate, let alone the country. (Of course, Bush's Texas legacy didn't seem to hurt him much).
