
McGruder strikes a chord with this one. I'm fairly defensive about my 2000 vote, for many reasons I do not (and still don't) equate a vote for Nader as a vote for Bush.
I can see how a Nader candidacy might keep votes from the Democrat running. However, I think Nader gets votes that _wouldn't be cast otherwise_. It's not a zero sum game. Is it a good idea for Nader to be running this year? Maybe not for Nader, I can't see how it's bad for the Nation.
I'm defensive about mine, too- hell, I voted for the man in '96 and 2000.
