It's about 3 times faster than a T1 line at $10 more per month than regular DSL.

actually, I'm paying $10 _less_ a month... but that's for the first year promotion, then it's the same as I had been paying for DSL ($35)... for $45 I can get 15M 3x faster than the 5M I have now.... it's amazing. Plus, no gay filters on all of my phones.

Verizon was installing FIOS on Eastern Ave. in Lynn this weekend, and today (tomorrow too?). The wife reports the cop on duty explained Lynnfield's cable options as being "whatever, it's five of one or half-a-dozen of the other".
