Lynn Public Library

Waitin' for a tire repair in downtown Lynn. I think the lady that drove in after me got preferential treatment and bumped me back in line because the guy at the counter is a horn dog. ---- Found in Lynn: Records Wanted "Largest Stock Of Oldies North Of Boston" 114 Central Ave Across From The Police Station Half price through August (if the proprieter can manage it) For $4.50 I own: Vangelis "Spiral" Antonio Carlos Jobim "Wave" Concerts of Great Music "From The Renaissance"

Vangelis rules. "Blade Runner" OST is my personal fave (did you enjoy the DVD BQ?) Big fan of AC Jobim, too. Not too long ago, I came across a cover of ACJ's "Aguas De Marco" (Waters of March - I think..) performed by Cibo Matto, accompanied w/ Dave Douglas and Marc Ribot. Shit = Hot. Since hearing that, I have been in search of other Jobim stuff. You'll have to let me know how the Lynn Library LP is. _______________________________

Lynn Public is defined by it's beautiful building and lousy collection. They recently got re-accredited. I might stick with Swampscott in the future (plus, it's closer).
