neighbors

So, the other night, my neighbors knocked on my door and offered some lasagna. I was on the phone w/CA and said, thanks, but I've already eaten. They said, just wrap it up, it's great...made with turkey... I said, oh, man! I'm vegetarian. But thanks anyway. That's when the dogs came pouring out of the house. Two hounds and a black lab who'd had surgery on a her neck a couple of days earlier. They all wanted my love and attention...and were not shy about jumping on me to get it. I ended up joining them in their side of the duplex, then when Beau was able to call them away from the kitchen, I commented on the movie A Christmas Story and how much that particular moment reminded me of it. Too funny. Loving it here.

Do you think Ovlov counts as a junked car, or not so much since she still runs?

I knew that car could make it to TN. Saw a Volvo with "MULVA" plates the other day.

Not only did it make it, it stayed close to 80m/hr most of the way. Smooth ride, great a/c, crappy stereo, and I was all about it! The other day I got the left rear passenger tire fixed; the wheel well was corroded and had to have the rust buffed off so the tire would fit properly and stop leaking air, like it has been for over a year. Hopefully there won't be any more leaks. It was a bargain fix at less than $20.
