The most comfortable full length trousers are:

I thought about putting "wool" on here, but let's be honest with each other, no one really likes wool do they? (Maybe with a silk lining, but straight up wool?)

Wool with a nice, silky lining... mmm, now that's a fine-looking (and feeling) trouser. Although for comfort... sweatpants win. Not a good choice for those who are opposed to underpants, however.

I have to abstain, for, as much as I love my Carhartt's, I feel Dickies are the most comfortable trou, and you don't have twill cotton/poly as a choice.

I should go to The Outdoor Store on my way home for some fresh Carhartt's and Dickies.

Speaking of Carhartt's, Samantha is back on the road, tgl you riding with me?

I also need to not vote for the pantsless, as I feel it's too obvious.

I enjoy sheet/hampton pants but I also consider most of mine pj's so I would like to give a shout out to pj as well.

Oh, and by "sweatpants", I am actually referring to my beloved drawstring yoga pants. Oh my god. Heaven. I might have to go put them on right now...

Where's the choice for assless pants, anyway?

Posted by dawnbixtler on 2005-08-29 19:52:55 +0000
poly-blend? That's about as weird as wool.

I'm a fan of denim. You only have to wash them when they really reek, as they almost never show dirt.

I also really like cords, but sometimes they bag at the knee, which drives me nuts.

That is a style, 10D, not a material. Maybe I should have put a vinyl/leather vote as well.

That's my bike!

More correctly: That's my favorite bike at Duncan's.

I need to do the following items, before riding, not necessarily in this order:

Empty garage this week.

Collect vehicles.

Place in garage.

Suspension on Subaru.

Timing on Datsun.

New tires on Honda.

I went with linen only because any sort of polymer based material was not listed. I was actually wearing my most comfortable slacks today.

I'll give it up for wool, too.

Hot Pants?
Wool Hot Pants?

Oh yeah, I got me some of them... wouldn't put them in my comfortable pile, unless comfortable is the new fashionable way to say "irresistable to all living mammals within a half mile radius"

Posted by dawnbixtler on 2005-08-31 16:41:00 +0000
Especially, if said wool hot pants are covering an award winning buttocks. My ass sucks... :(

The soundtrack to my memory of Jason in said knitted hotpants is Prince, "Sexy MF".

Whoo boy! Shakin' that ass, shakin that ass!

That ass has won $20, in NH....

I'll give it up for wool camping pants, with or without liner.

Thanks for the props, dawn, I've been AWOL in NC for the week, where my ass is worth $1 at most... fucking hurricane.
