Ive had 'Yankee Hotel Foxtrot' on a lot either driving, in the background (or maybe because rock journalists told me to... I dunno) the past year or so, but for some reason, the song Jesus Etc. caught my attention after watching a skip infested Netflix DVD used-to-serve-an-egg-sandwich-on entitled <a href="http://www.plexifilm.com/wilco.html">'I Am Trying to Break Your Heart'</a>

when it became really skippy at the end, I fished out the CD and headphones, and the following lines gave me the chills:

tall buildings shake
voices escape singing sad sad songs
turned to chords strung down your cheeks
bitter melodies turnin your orbit around



Also, I had no idea Reprise dropped Wilco like a hot potato after the band turned in YHF. After talking about the legal travails of butthole surfers vs. touch and go, I found the 'I Am Trying to Break Your Heart' story especially interesting.
