You all know I'm NOT quick to defend these guys, especially with all of Cheney's corruption and the over charging during no-bid contracts, but this was a <a href="http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2005/09/04/AR2005090401193.html">bid winning contract.</a>

"The subsidiary, Kellogg, Brown & Root Services Inc., won the competitive bid contract last July to provide debris removal and other emergency work associated with natural disasters."

KBR happens to provide services that very few others provide. Maybe Bechtel is too busy try to stop the leaks in the Big Dig.
