The Official RS.N Wildcard Debate

With the divisions all nicely settling into place, (noting that the AL West is still very interesting) let's talk wildcard predictions. For the National League, it's been interesting, with the _whole_ NL East being contenders, however, for that exact reason, I'm predicting Houston, despite their offence, for sake of their pitching (best in baseball?) and easier schedule. For the American League, and I'm most excited about this, I'm going with the Indians, again, due to the second place teams in the East and West getting beat up upon too much by their own divisions. I think it's fasacinating how the AL Central has turned out so unexpectedly... Chicago? SI predicted the Twins, sorry, Torii.

I'd love it if the Indians and 'Stros got in there- both seem likely to me. Cleveland is rad: fat relief pitcher, tiny payroll. Nice point re: the whole NL East beating itself up. I'd love it if the Nats got in, but it doesn't seem likely. Still a hell of a first year for 'em.

I'm still a Marlins guy. Love Dontrelle. Beckett hit his first career home run tonight.

Indians and Astros. If only because I have no imagination.
