iTunes apreesh

I have started the daunting process of converting CD's to MP3, gettin' ready for the inevitable iPod purchase. Man, iTunes rules- since arriving home, the shuffle has played Mary Lou Lord, Descendents, Screeching Weasel, Sinead O'Connor and Jawbox as I've been uploading the Spinanes. Rad!

If I could get an iPod nano with an AM tuner, I might be convinced this was worthwhile technology.

still waiting to get enough scratch for the 60 gb one. I dont get why someone would plop down almost $300 USD for a 20 gb (the Nano is like either 2gb or 4gb - right? and that one is flirting at $200 or more) when you can get the 60 gb for less than $400 USD. Im sure its not a prob for most people, but when I get one, I'm gonna be laying down a serious CATALOG of music... the more gigs, the better. _______________________________

It's _never_ a good time to buy new technology. The next best thing is always on the horizon. At some point you have to bite the bullet and settle for what you can afford now.

very true. To repeat a link I used on RSN a week or so ago, I've been having fun watching the whole war over the HD formats coming down the pike: Toshiba vs. Sony _______________________________
