Someone posted this on the zorn listserv the other day. Chortle inducing: happened to catch this flipping channels... category: z-guys (or z-men or something like that) hardest question (somewhat paraphrased): "this nyc saxophonist has composed tributes to ennio morricone, ornette colemen (....and maybe someone else). cue music: 15 or 20 seconds of 'inside straight' from naked city alex trebek: "we're enjoying his music, but no one is reaching for the signaller to ring in JOHN ZORN" i couldn't believe it.
