We have a place, we have a date!

Date: The weekend of September 16th, 2006. The location: Camp Wing, Duxbury, MA. The plan: You're all invited to a weekend at camp! We have rented the entire camp for the weekend, so you can stay in one of the cabins Friday and Saturday nights. You can bring your doggies and/or your children. We'll have the ceremony sometime on Saturday, maybe the morning, maybe on the beach. Back at the camp we'll have canoeing, rock climbing, a softball/kickball game, buffet dinner, dancing, a DJ and maybe karaoke, a camp fire. We'll be brewing lots of homebrew and lots of mead between now and then, but we'll also have all of the usual things-- wine, beer, etc. We're trying to make it as DIY as possible, so don't be surprised when we ask you to do a job! We're trying to do this in a very low-key and relaxed way.

I'd love to oblige - especially as I have suggestions to take us from early afternoon (bubblegum) through to late at night (AK-47, anyone?) - but I am way too neurotic to even consider this without having a total meltdown. I can think of one Worcester-native who tends to have some great Stateside goods on offer...

and another thing.... AK47 late at night when already in an advanced state of refreshment? thats a receipe for disaster - AK47 & PBR for breakfast, bubblegum and a new world merlot for lunch then blueberry and a decent claret for supper - works for me
