I'm really bummed that flav went from this: to this I think Anheuser Busch has already threatned litigation which succesfully took the Miller Lite ad off the air. I saw it once and it just made me sad. _______________________________

Um, dare I saw Flav didn't really go that far. Seriously, is he any different?

I went with Nation of Millions, but Apocalypse '91 is pretty tight. His 'Progressive' interview was also phenominal.

If it wasn't selling beer / alcohol, I would be inclined to agree. Flav is still Flav in the commercial personality wise, but PE (or at least the PE I have in my mind from High School / Early College) was pretty anti-drinking. The cover of Muse Sick N Our Message has a picture of a 40 alongside a Klansman: even if its not a just sentiment, It personally makes me feel a little like if Fugazi were to sign to Interscope... _______________________________

Im surprised no one has made a case for 'Black Planet' yet... There's usually one in each crowd... Bizquig? 'welcome to the TerrorDome', 'fight the Power' amongst others are pretty essential... _______________________________

You freaks know I love "Fear of a Black Planet" the best outta all of them. (Ned, I too like "Apocalypse 91")... But really, what could possibly be said at this point about Public Enemy? I mean, aren't we beating a dead horse now? Shouldn't we be talking about something more current?

RE: more current Whatever. Time Traveller.

probably, but I had a craving the other day, hence this thread. (I also had PE on the brain after the below Miller Lite Flav incident.) I know yr not one for schmaltzy nostalgia, though, so I'll brainstorm hard to make my next music thread more current. _______________________________

BTW: I heard that Chuck D interviewed Brian Wilson of Beach Boys fame on his 'Air America' show a few weeks back. Now that must have been good radio.
