For the last few months that I've been in Nashville, I've had my eye on a cool rug at the Bellvue Mall furniture consignment shop. It was originally listed at $125. Honestly, that was too much. The rug is dirty and fraying around the edges.

Luckily, this place reduces the prices by 25% every month or two that it's sitting there. I was very patient, and saw it moved from the front of the store to the back, and finally...it was 75% off! I picked it up yesterday, happily knowing that my sister will pay me back for the purchase; she's giving it to me for Hannukah!

Hopefully that will help bring down the astronomical cost of heating my place. Just got a bill for over $140 for gas. Man, I'm glad winter is short-lived here. Looking forward to March when warm breezes start up again.
