signing on to this thread a little late. Finally got to the TIVo last night to see this. I had to wake Jackie up on the Sandburg/Parnell it was so good... I hope they start more of these "digital shorts" I found the rest of the SNL episode to be astoundingly spotty, the Dick Cheney Santa skit at the very beginning was funny, as was the "TV Funhouse" animated Motown take on Jews and Christmas. I wasnt impressed w/ J. Black (which surprises me cause I usually like the guy) Monologue song=too long and dumb (seemed like all the rest of the gimmicky schtick Ive heard from tenacious D) spelling bee song= way too long, initial idea funny, but tried to get too much mileage out of it.
