I grew to love three classics this year, none came out this year though: "De La Soul is Dead" by De La Soul, "The Last Poets" by The Last Poets, and "Animals" by Pink Floyd. As for stuff from this year, there was one for the ages "Sufjan Stevens Invites You to Come On, Feel the Illinoise!" by Sufjan Stevens, and a fine comp that might lose it's luster over time (we'll see) "Run the Road." Anyway, here's a playlist of fine songs: "The Tallest Man, The Broadest Shoulders" Sufjan Stevens "The Fallen" Franz Ferdinand "$10" M.I.A. "Twin Cinema" The New Pornographers "3" Big Bear "Trumpet for a Lung" Hopewell "Be Good to Them Always" The Books "Brit Pop" Furvis "Little Boys" Devnadra Banhart "Holly" The Elevator Drops "Jeremy" Feast Whisperpants and Penis Tea Flush "Mic Check" Kano "Losing My Edge" LCD Soundsystem "Afri-Cola" Oxes "Let it Out" Roll Deep "Destruction V.I.P" Jammer "Drink Beer" Bear Man "Pencil Rot" Stephen Malkmus
