Sidekick
OK, as the only person who's favorite section in the paper is still the comics. I need to comment on reasons why I like the piece of shit they call the Sidekick:

I don't have to find which section the comics are in, and compete with other people who want to read that section for its actual content.

Bliss is great.

I opened the motherfucker up today and there was NickZ staring up at me... and the rest of The Campaign was there, too.

At least a few years ago before it was sidekick, the comics page would have a fun crossword from Bizquig in there from time to time...
My QPB.com bookclub has the book Crossworld as a main selection right now. Still weird seeing a friend's name in print...
Second, Sidekick is easily the most competitive section to find at the Diesel Cafe. The dykes love that sudoku style. Oddly, the sports section is always laying around.
Third, tendiamonds, you correctly pointed out the Arlo and Janis done as a 2x2 can be ridiculous, and that continues to suck.
Fourth, I would rather have C4[rt] on the cover of 'Arts'.

I would love to see a comics/entertainment section that folded in the same manner of the regular paper and was indexed similarly. (Sports-D, Arts-F, Sidekick-M, whatever)

I like the sudoku and the crossword and the bridge and whatever, but the poker column, as much as I thought I would like it, is offensive. It is more formulaic than the advise from kids in the Fun Pages... every week talks about poker being about playing the player and the stacks and not the cards blah, blah, blah, and then goes on to talk about cards and nothing about players and stacks...

Speaking of the Fun Pages, the Sunday Comics are even more fucked up than the Sidekick, the Fun Pages are, uh, only one page now, and there are funnies on the other side...

The Campaign should be on the cover of the Food section.
