Marte trading chip?

So given that the deal is getting messy and at least one writer is calling for the <a href="http://www.boston.com/sports/nesn/wilbur/sports_blog/blog/2006/01/26/time_to_fold_leaky_deal/">plug to be pulled</a>, if this deal busts and we still have Marte to trade, do we wish we didn't have Gonzalez so we could trade for Lugo?

Is it pretty much determined that Clement won't be a Red Sox by the All-star break? What about those of us that like him?

I don't think we have Gonzalez yet- still a free agent. And I'd rather have him than Lugo, whose fielding is perilously Renteria-esque.
