Converting to iTunes has given me the opportunity to re-discover my nascent mp3 collection. Any doubt that Selected Ambient Works 85-92 is the first and last word in electronica? No.

I honestly think I'm allergic to Aphex Twin. It's like a physical reaction similar to fingernails on a chalkboard for some people. I get all nervous and jumpy and claustrophobic when I hear it. All I can think about is how to stop having to endure it.
So, I hate it when I have to listen to Aphex Twin. But, I don't hate it like I hate having to listen to, say, Eric Clapton... I hate it the same way I hate breaking out in hives. More like a medical condition than a preference.

If the reaction is from tracks like "Windowlicker", than, yeah, I can dig it. SAW85-92 is a different story. Try it out.
