So happy I remembered the first rule of purchasing technology.

It is not an investment! Otherwise, I may be a little miffed that I purchased a <a href="http://www.apple.com/macmini/">Mac mini</a> <b>yesterday</b>. Obsolete within 24 hrs. Possibly a record?

On the other hand, they won't be making the $500 model anymore. Don't want no Intel chip, no ways.

Converting to iTunes has given me the opportunity to re-discover my nascent mp3 collection. Any doubt that <a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00005Y1TL/ref=ase_rsn0d-20/104-4363183-2832716?s=music&v=glance&n=5174&tagActionCode=rsn0d-20">Selected Ambient Works 85-92</a> is the first and last word in electronica? No.

I honestly think I'm allergic to Aphex Twin. It's like a physical reaction similar to fingernails on a chalkboard for some people. I get all nervous and jumpy and claustrophobic when I hear it. All I can think about is how to <b>stop</b> having to endure it.

So, I hate it when I have to listen to Aphex Twin. But, I don't hate it like I hate having to listen to, say, Eric Clapton... I hate it the same way I hate breaking out in hives. More like a medical condition than a preference.

If the reaction is from tracks like "Windowlicker", than, yeah, I can dig it. SAW85-92 is a different story. Try it out.
