If only the T drivers could be this funny every day
This morning on an overly stuffed blue line train:
"There's always room for one more - next stop, Aquarium."

Just like hot dogs.

Gadi and I have kicked in Hot Dog Season early this year. We've been out at least once a week for a month already. Yesterday I mixed it up with a patty melt.

Allston's got Beantown Dogs (which is very good) AND Spike's- give a shout if you wanna pack some in.

While I do like my Spike's I cannot say they are 'better' than Beantown. Joe and Nemo's has closed at Downtown Crossing. Bo ho.
Just finished of a 10 pack of 'Fenway's' two night ago. Time to buy hotdogs...

I tried out Beantown last week- pretty good. Different than Spike's, certainly, but not bad at all.
(And I totally forgot to listen to Jam'n. I'll try again this week.)

I've never been to Beantown. We've got excellent showing in Natick, betwixt Casey's and The Chateau, as well as several other fine establishments.
I like Spike's for some of the fun toppings, and they have a decent dog and offer a veggie dog, which is good for convincing the veggie wife that this is a place that serves food. I dislike Spikes because of their buns, and the fact that the wife got sick after eating there on two separate occasion, which makes it harder to convince her that it is a place that serves food.
For my home consumption, I'm strictly a Deutschmacher Brand guy.

Is Deutschmacher an all pork dog? Natural casing?
I might check 'em out. It's fair to say Fenway's are better at the ball game.

Deutschmachers are natural casing, and probably a cocktail of meats.
I like them because:
They have an extremely snappy casing.
They come in 3 pound boxes at BJs for a reasonable price.
Their meat is smooth and creamy, the way a processed product should be.
They are downright delicious.
Personally, I can't stand all beef dogs. Leave them for the Kykes.

My new pre-ballgame move might be a $9 liverwurst sandwich at Eastern Standard. Damn.

Mine is "The Alchemist" and a smoothie from Life Alive... and then a Spinners game, of course.
Actually, since we're moving to Holliston, we may have to switch to the Paw Sox...

It seems that the Brockton Rox, PawSox and Worcester Tornadoes are all about equidistant from Holliston, so we'll have our pick of teams.

You'll be REALLY close to my ancestral homeland...

indeed.

That's only one of the three organic raw bars in Lowell, right?
Posted by tendiamonds on 2006-03-03 11:55:28 +0000
Three? It's the only one I've been to, do we need to do a crawl?
Posted by tgl on 2006-03-03 12:06:34 +0000
I'm making the number up. I thoughtI read about multiple organic foodie bars in Lowell.

OK, so you made up three. Still, do we need to do a crawl?
Maybe on April 2, for lunch? Then we all go watch some curling?
