Discarded

While the scribe is one of those crazed leftists from The Nation, his opinion piece seems an even-handed account of Andrew Card's impact within the Bush Administration. via Yahoo! Agreed that in order for it to seem even-handed you need to be predisposed to viewing the unprecedentedly strong vice president --that much is a fact-- as being the real Chief of Staff within the Bush administration.

He forgets to mention that Card is widely believed to be the advocate for Harriet Miers. Not as bad as fumbling the ball while New York burns, but, hey.

A day late and a dollar short...

Bush has 2 1/2 years to show that he can actually do something constructive other than cutting taxes (which seem to be largely destructive at this point; I do give the tax cuts some credit for moderating the "recession" of 2001-03).

A day late, a buck short
I'm writing the report
On losing and failing
When I move
I'm flailing now

And it'll happen once again
I'll turn to a friend
Someone that understands
Sees through the master plan

But everybody's gone
And I've been here for too long
To face this on my own
Well I guess this is growing up

PAM 182

I unashamedly love any music that's meant for nerdy 14-year-old boys.

Blink182, Linkin Park, C4RT...

Oh, snap. Except the ladies like the Campaign. Shocking but true.

...what I meant to write was Blink 182, Linkin Park, & Gay for Johnny Depp...
