Williams-Sonoma is totally going down on this one.

As I read this article this morning, I got a mad craving for the Fluff. Then I thought about tgl and tommy.

Last week, Marna and I sent away to "Lynn White" for our Fluff recipe book.

Williams and Sonoma = Hitler

Huh?

Posted by dawnbixtler on 2006-03-29 17:12:17 +0000
As they should. This is complete BS. Fluff has had the recipe for "fluffernutter" on the back of the fluff jar for the past 4 decades. What was W&S thinking? Side Note: The best fluffernutter sandwich is made on Challah braed, preferably made by Judy Budiansky.

Really? For me, a Fluffernutter is one of those foods where I actually want low quality, or at least a level of "fakeness". Other examples: I wouldn't want, say, fresh Vermont cheddar on my Cheez Doodles, and I certainly don't want any actual cream in my kreme horns. We keep two jars of peanut butter: one jar of Teddy lumpy genuine peanut butter, and one processed, homogenized, emulsified jar of Skippy. The latter is used exclusively for Fluffernutters. And, they are made with store-brand, plain white bread.

Challah == White Bread for White Bred Kikes

Gotcha.

I think there is something to this. Isn't challah just an old skool white bread? Challah has egg yolk in it, purely to make it taste better, and worse for you. I too am a sucker for peanut butter with hydrogenated vegetable oils... mmm, candy...

Just read the article. Raise your hand if you enjoy 2 hours meetings? --- I love the Somerville-Lynn link. Lara mentioned the lawsuit a couple days ago, we were trying to remember the name of the company: "D-W? D-M? Dow-M something... Sounds like lawnmower maker." Durkee-Mower of course. Mila and I dodge the delivery trucks in the mornings.

There's an orange sign in Conway Park on Somerville Avenue that commemorates the Flufflink.

Got the recipe book just now! It arrived in a neatly hand-addressed envelope, and is entitled "The Yummy Book". Recipes are mostly what you'd expect: ice cream sauces, fudges, dessert bars, etc. Two, though, caught my eye: "Sweet Potato Souffle" and "Molded Fruit Salad". Mmmmm, molded fruit.

Yeah, it's a fantastic tape. I have it at home myself! The last track on Tim's MySpace page has a MH track. It was ten years ago today...
