I had lunch at Casey's Hot Dogs with Gadi today... we do it every Wednesday for a late lunch. Appetizer: 2 hot dogs, boiled, steamed bun, heavy onions and mustard, nice. Sammy: "Friendly Burger (patty melt) with onions and the "mustard trick"... the "mustard trick" involves putting mustard on the outside of the bread, and grilling it in. Wow. Beverage: coffee Dessert: 3 pack of "homemade" cookies from a company in Malden. Report: delicious

Speaking of hot dogs...Spike's is popping up all over the place. There's one in Davis across from the Citizens Bank, and now there's one at the corner of Boylston and Mass. Ave. by Berklee. It's pretty exciting - they've got tasty food.

Coffee with lunch is a singular pleasure. Coffee all day is a multiple pleasure. --- I once had a burger, fries and coffee with a young Jay Breslau at a Bickford's counter in Newton. A fine day.

I had the not-chicken noodle soup my nephew refused to eat and some not-that-great nachos. No drink. Never coffee.
