Skid Row

So, since Miriam, HtL and I are the only ones on this board likely to be watching The Gilmore Girls, I'd like to point out to all'y'all that Sebastian Bach has a recurring role on the show as the middle aged guy in a band with a bunch of 20-somethings. More importantly, he's great. I can't believe there is no Skid Row in the MCotP. Um, I just did some googling... anyone know about VH1's SuperGroup? Ted Nugent, Scott Ian, Sebastian Bach, Evan Seinfeld and Jason Bonham... Seriously? Ed. fixup pic. width

I had heard of Supergroup... Jason Bonham, out of nowhere.... Sort of depressing for Scott Ian IMHO, but it's really gotta help Nugent, since Patti Smith kicked the shit out of the him in a fight.

From the "Bust" magazine on my coffee table, (Eliza borrowed form Laura Peake): "WE'RE COMPLETELY BATTY FOR PATTI! ...When Patti encountered macho rock star Ten Nugent at a radio station, Nugent said, 'We knew it was you. We could could smell you coming,' so she punched him in the face, knocking him out cold." Maybe it wasn't a fight, per se.

Wow! I wish I'd been in Vegas for that. I'm a big fan of Bach on the show. I mean, the show is fantastic anyway, but he adds some much needed middle-aged hair metal moments. My fave is when he gets into the band while at the paintings-come-to-life festival. When he tells his wife and kids he's in the band, it's priceless!

As long as we're talking bit characters on The Gilmore Girls, we were watching a season 5 episode on DVD last night and Devon Sorvari, who went to high school with dawn and I was on as what will become a recurring character.
