Overheard at "Lounge" on the VFW Parkway in Revere
Thanks to the kindliness of Anna-Marie, I got dropped off at Wonderland about a half-hour before the 442 bus was due. I took the oppurtunity to visit the bar, labeled "Lounge", just a farther bit up the parkway... near the intersection with Revere St.
I'll disregard that the bartender was drunk, and that a patron was pouring his own Caucasion (White Russian), and that the off-duty 50-ish waitress was warning other patrons about the bitchiness of her mother.
Said waitress than complained about her job in Danvers:
"Yeah, I work in Maine now, well, it's in Danvers, it's so far away!"
