I think I'm the first to review the performance. I don't know whether they'll win--I just came from the show, where the other bands had yet to play--but I can say with confidence that C4[RT] played better tonight than at any of their shows I've attended thus far. I think, too, that this show was better than any of the various McNamara, Quigley, and Olds bands' performances I've seen in the last nine years. The audience participation was enthusiastic but VERY BADLY COORDINATED, though. I think just about everybody missed their flashlight cue, and books just started flying around in the second half of the set, apropos of nothing. Or at least that's how it seemed to me.

Sounds, from previous posts, that the audience participation may not be all that helpful for winning over the judges. Hope the music does the trick, though!

Overeager lobbers kinda crushed the book groove tonight, alas.

I'm glad that pchippy thought the performance was a-plus. I too hold that view. Some of the drunker audience members from last week did not think so. Strength in numbers!
