as best as I can tell it is either having fun with the avant garde: a) on a performance art level (i.e. the Sumos wrestling each other combined with the attached musical instruments on their bodies creating art) or b)the Sumos have musical instruments attached to their bodies in a recording studio and they will capture all the sounds they make and the end product will be recorded music that people like me will probably end up buying on Ebay for way more than its worth I'm leaning towards a) because the people standing around look like audience members, not recording engineers (although - what do recording engineers steretypically look like?) Either way, it made me chortle. Any cartoonist willing to put the time and effort into a JZ refrence must be a fan of the experimental scene - why else would you bother to go there?

Not true. Bloom County is my comedy Bible.
