Sparks aren't flying

So, my newly Buddhist electrician just left me a message that he couldn't do the work at my house. I've been leaving him messages for days and he just called back to let me know. Well, at least he let me know! Now I have to find someone else to do the rewiring and installing of fixtures and disconnecting of wall heaters. Hopefully I'll be able to find someone else reasonably priced. Maybe I can also find someone who will fix my living room ceiling so it doesn't look pregnant on the side where I sit under it, too! That's more general fixing, though, not so much electrical.

Two electrical estimates later, I'm totally hiring the guy that worked on my sister's house! He's coming by on Tuesday morning, and will do a fabulous job...including putting in a timed light in my carport so it's not dark when I get home! So happy. He's also in the right monetary ballpark. The estimate I got on Saturday morning was for $2400, which is insane. This one is closer to $800, which is reasonable. I can't wait to be able to turn on my kitchen light when I walk into the kitchen!
