Critical Points From Last Bachelor Weekend

That is a credit card. The Gay Yankee Network. Until nearly 5am. Disappointment Saturday: * Brunch starts at 11:30pm in Williamsburg. * You can't get to the library from here. * Is 3 bleacher and 2 grandstand tickets OK? ... They're sold out. * Is that cheddar on this pizza? * CBGB's is closed. Are you with the band? * Minus one. * They stop selling beer in NJ at 10pm. * AA member: "I'm recovering." Response: "I've been recovering since 9am." Who would win: Nubian or Celt? "We've already ordered the Special." Krull: at least as good landscapes as Willow. Peter Chipman and the Adequate Oysters WCUW does not turn into WZBC. What did you do for your bachelor party? We discussed going to the botanical gardens, went clothes shopping, and watched a PBS fundraiser.

Let's play "Guess The Spy!" Jail as a corrective.

Where's Critical Points From the Bachelorette weekend? All the pix on propagandatour's Flickr site are extremely dark....don't you want to share??

Oh yeah, where did you sleep Saturday night?

An $80 motel on Rte.103 in Cinnaminason, NJ (think Rte. 1 Sagaus). Porn channel included in price.

I brought an analog camera (the horror!)-- haven't finished the roll of 35 mm. film. I'll post if someone else has pictures.

Lorbering-- But no one is REALLY surprised when Chippy and I resurrect obsolete forms of media. Chippy just picked this out of the trash this weekend, and it works:

It works! Looks like my cousin Ray.

I took three analog shots.

Is that a stock photo from Iraqi media?

good lord.

Posted by MF DU on 2006-05-31 18:38:42 +0000
wow - what a negative first post ('good lord') to what must've been an awesome time to congratulate TMBTC's upcoming marriage. Congrats TGL! Hope it was a blast.

...and pchippy, and dawnbixtler. Thanks, it was (road trips are always better in retrospect).

I that it was specifically earmarked as a TGL thang - didnt realize, but prob'ly should have - that it was combo for all three. Congrats gentlemen!

Indeed. Still on the interweb: osric.com We also found a connection: Herdt knows Ben Tausig (crossword constructor) who of course knows Brendan Emmet Quigley.

Oh yeah! Read my brainchild.

Posted by tgl on 2006-06-02 12:49:04 +0000
I'm not sure I've read this one, otherwise, I would have remembered that my name is used in Chapter 3.

Posted by tendiamonds on 2006-06-02 12:56:58 +0000
That was Flaster

Posted by tgl on 2006-06-02 13:08:39 +0000
I should read it instead of skimming, but, in Ch. 10: "Marlboro light with the filter broken off". That's a Lorber fagen.

Posted by tgl on 2006-06-02 13:29:53 +0000
Ch. 9?

Posted by tendiamonds on 2006-06-02 14:20:15 +0000
Yeah? Ask Dawn about the party at Sue Sundberg's house that I smoked a pack of Marlboro Light Menthols backwards, with the filters torn off, and then proceeded to yogurt all over her patio... Wild Turkey may have been involved.

Posted by tgl on 2006-06-02 14:25:38 +0000
Well, if the quote had mentioned menthols, then sure, it woulda been a Breslau fagen. Didn't you take up Kools for about three days?

Posted by tendiamonds on 2006-06-02 14:28:58 +0000
Nah, Parliment Menthols.

Posted by dawnbixtler on 2006-06-02 16:00:29 +0000
I saw Sundberg at Peake's Wednesday night. She was doing well in Park City Utah, and fun to talk to.
