The silver lining of shipping manufacturing jobs to China.

A long time ago I wrote a song with the following lyric: I'm the man with three arms Two for pleasure And one for harm I was never really sure whether or not I'd lifted it from someone else. This was from my second songwriting phase, in the mid-90's. My first phase was in the mid-80's, which ended with me giving up upon realising that all of my songs were simply new lyrics written to the tune of Phil Collins songs. My second phase ended with me giving up upon realising that all my songs were simply new lyrics written to the tune of Guided by Voices songs. I think I'm due for some more tune-stealing.

World Cup isn't on broadcast TV, here on the North Shore. What's a good website to follow the action?

Hm... I'd say either on FIFA's official site via their MatchCast feature or on BBC's website's World Cup 2006 section (which should also have simultaneously updated scores as the matches occur).

World Cup will be on ESPN and ESPN2 although coverage probably won't be as extensive as European TV. I'm sure there will be a number of bars catering to the international crowd that will be showing games on Satellite. My friend, Tony, has spanish cable if you want to come over and watch games en espanol.
