The Arlen Specter Letter

Just a reminder that when Bush, Cheney, and Co. keep saying that the NSA wiretaps had Senate approval, they are lying. In fact, Bush appears to have bipartisan opposition with Rockafeller and Specter. Further, can anyone find a Senator who has said it _is_ within the bounds or the Constitution?

That line about "I walked directly in front of you ... enroute from the buffet to my table" is priceless. The world basically operates pretty much they way it did in Junior High, make no mistake. Cheney's got the ball folks, and there is nothing we can do.

That's a very long, very accusatory letter. Wonder if he'll burn it, shred it or just chuck it in the bin?
