W12: Tasters, Chairs

After a mediocre week (7-4-3), Tasters matchup with the Chairs. First rematch of the year. A close result from the first meeting (7-6) foreshadows a hotly contested week. Highlights from Monday's Tasters: * B. Arroyo went 9 innings for the win yesterday. * J. Pierre had 3 RBI on 2 hits. For the Chairs: * C. Figgins with 2 stolen bases. If nothing else, I'd like to take the stolen bases category this week. J. Damon has the Tasters only bag, at the moment. Oh, the Tasters are back atop the league by one game.

It will be tough to take bags from the chairs. We're still undefeated in that category. (albeit with three ties) As a matter of fact, the Chairs with SB and Jose Lima Rocks with Wins are the only unbeaten teams in all categories. Good luck.

Final score: Chairs 11; Tasters 3. Tasters may have done better if they'd seen that Uggla was injured on Tuesday and put in the backup 2b. Tad Iguchi had a helluva week on the bench. If the Tasters would like to have a proxy manager whilst in Romania, I will do so, I promise not to trade all of your team to mine.
