The only thing this article didn't tackle which needs to be adressed is the unacceptibility of 10-15 minutes worth of soft drink / tv / video game / auto dealership ads. Not the slideshow with 'Matthew Perry' trivia (cue Adam Samberg) mind you... but a myriad of straight-up commercials forced on a paying audience before a film starts.
Commercials for other films or even the occasional psa are ok, but I'm pretty sure that Emily Post would get medeival on the rest of the stuff's ass.
