i thought this was more along the "ortiz is greater than bird" discussion. i did see the game with the bird on the field, it was pretty amazing that no one did anything about the poor bird. fucking dickheads.

Also had same thought. Shaughnessy's article last week? The week before? Posits that Ortiz is putting on a display of talent that has not been equaled in Boston, across the four major men's sports. I'd agree.

Simmons wrote about it last week, as well, and essentially said that Bird's clutch moments were better for longer.
