W20: Tasters 12, Chewers 2
League best this week. Only dropped categories: Saves and Home Runs. It's true the Bubble Gum Chewers are 10 of 12 in the league, 52 games back, but hey, you take it were you can. Tasters are looking to surge back into first place this week, with a head-to-head matchup with the Watchma Kollets, currently in first by 3 games.

Also important to note that the Chewers haven't made a lineup move since week 7. That includes cutting Carl Everett when he was designated for assignment. That includes moving guys to the DL. He even had a player on the DL in the outfield every day for a while. At least his only starting pitcher on the bench is on the DL, so he's not missing all of those starts.

Going into the weekend with a 9-5 lead over the Kollets. If I can hold, I'll have the leagure lead (again).
Situation not helped with Denys Baez (Braves) posting a 20+ ERA for the week. I guess he was suffering from appendicitis all week. I finally dropped Kerry Wood, too. Added Mike Capps (he of the Pirates). Looks like Milton Bradley is off the DL, too. Wonder when that happened. A very productive AM, here at work.

We have a 6 team championship in which teams 1 & 2 get byes.
We also have a 6 team chumpianship in which teams 7 &8 get byes.
Chairs are currently 4 games out of getting a bye in the chumpianship. It's been a rough month.
