I'd say I spend an average of 10-15 minutes a day trying to detangle my (apparently unpopularly) curly hair in the shower with 1/2 cup of conditioner.
In high school my friends once ironed my hair; it took 3 hours and looked stupid.
At summer camp a friend straightened my hair; it took 2 hours.
For the "Superheroes and Villians Party" I had my hair blown out straight; it took 1 1/2 hours and I broke one of their blow dryers after an hour.
I look bad with straight hair. Long live curls!
