This looks like a good spot for a reminder... Fluff Festival tomorrow! Delicious Rice Krispie Treats!

Alas, I will not be around to pay tribute to "Lynn White". Look for Michael Costello's work in the artist exhibition.

Can you make rice crispie treats with fluff? That would be awesome! Especially since fluff is kosher...and vegetarian.

I have always believed that rice crispie treats can *only* be made with Fluff.

I think you use butter too. I had vegan rice krispie squares once. Maybe it was my frame of mind but they tasted better than ...... starburst

Morrisey and Moby's mafia will be all over me, but if animals have to be sacrificed, at least its for something as awesome as a Rice Krispie treat.

Lots of coverage of this event, yesterday in the <a href="">Glob</a> (heh.) Today on <a href="http://www.here-now.org/shows/2006/10/20061002_13.asp">Here and Now</a>.

Had a Fluffernutter for lunch today.

I went down to the fluff fest. It was lame. They had huge lines for fluffernutter and krispie squares and a country band. The inventor of fluff was there. He was a hippie dude with long hair. I definetely bought a burrito and three cd's for a dollar a piece instead.

Not as good as I'd hoped. But, I wouldn't say lame. Some good Fluff-art in the SCAT building. Turns out that tuna salad and fluff on a cracker is good. I helped fill a kiddie pool with fluff for a tug-of-war. Later that night in Davis, saw a dreadlocked guy with a bunch of Fluff in his hair.

kiddie pools and SCAT buildings... where is this thread going?

I think it is cool that they created a "what the fluff" festival. I guess I just wanted more interaction with the fluff and all I saw was lines of people that were looking for the fluff.

Agreed. And, yeah, the guy playing the inventor of Fluff probably didn't do a whole lot of research. I'm guessing the real guy was not a greying hippie wearing a plaid suit straight outta Match Game '74.

While channel surfing recently, I witnessed a Food TV challenge where the chefs had to recreate skylines using cereal...most used fluff to make their crispy treats. Baltimore's harbor won.

that's awesome. I wonder if it is on you tube yet...
