I found out a couple of weeks ago that Declan's glasses were fakes, part of an attempt to give him some kind of "image". Apparently the guys at Stiff thought he looked nondescript.

He still makes me go weak at the knees.

My fakes arrived last week, courtesy eBay UK. Skulking around looking vaguely menacing has commenced.

I've got a recorded "live off the radio" cassette of Declan's first US tour, "Live at The Hot Club" and I could make a CD. But you can't have the 6 foot menacing poster I took off the club wall...

When I had to get glasses a few years ago, they came out looking very much like your fakes. I like to think of them as face jewelry.
