This was on the TV in the lobby at the dentist's office this afternoon. Actual conversation (well, paraphrased)... Patron: Did you see this? Receptionist: Yeah... a plane flew into a building in NY. But, they don't think it was a terrorist. Patron: Yeah, but did you see it was a Yankees pitcher? Receptionist: [face lights up] Oooh, was it Randy Johnson?? Patron: No, Corey someoneorother Receptionist: [disappointed] Awww.. Oh well.

In between telling people at her concerts to shut the fuck up, Barbara Streisand and Charlie Sheen have convinced me that this is yet another vast right wing conspiracy of our government to instill fear in its people. Never fear, though folks cause Mulder and Scully are investigating, and they're going to get some hard answers right after this commercial break of SUV vehicles, state election committee and liquor law ads.
